Axel Chakrams - Work in Progess 2

More chakram progress! I know.. I really have only been updating with works in progress but I am SO happy with this baby. Even though I have a-whole-nother one to go (I'll avoid thinking about that for now...)-- I am so proud.

I have a huge respect for all prop makers more than ever. This has turned into a 20 hour+ project for just the one already. It has been through hell, shed blood, sweat, and tears with this piece-- and frankly this was no piece of cake.

This chakram is made of pink insulation project foam. I am so not skilled with wood so this is where I turned to. There was hot wire cutting/carving. Dremeled to a smoother state. Then hand sanded to make it more controlled and a smoother look. Gesso has now covered this and I am so happy with it. Now it is time for some resin-- and then to make another!

Please don't be to hard on the critique if you give some. This is, afterall, my first prop I have made for a goal of legit. xD
